So sorry for posting another blah blah blah sunrise. No snow here ya know.. :) :) Sunrise at Sandy Beach on this Aloha Friday. We got out there super early "in the dark" around 5:50am. The sunrise colors didn't reach out to the clouds and stayed in that small red/orange band along the horizon. Ahhh shucks!! Oh well better luck next time. Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend.

:) It is a wonderful sunrise.

About the bunny below - seeing it is your pet, I'll try not to look upon it as dinner. Our family raises rabbits for food.

Scenes like this I long to experience as we deal with the cold weather and snow.

Even though it didn't meet your expectations, I still like the photograph very much.

It makes one wish they were there to actually experience it.

Wow! You braved those chilly winds we've been having for an awesome shot! Great colors too!

Getting up for sunrise is hard work! I find it difficult to wake up so early and so cold! This photo is beautiful. I know exactly what you mean by the colors of the sunrise not reaching out to the clouds, but I still enjoy this photo.

I know you said there was not much coloring in this sunrise - but I can see this photo on the cover of a greeting card. Nice shot!
