A Passing Monk at Ala Moana Beach Park... :) Actually there were 2 monks.. one was tooo blurry so he got cropped off.. So sorry Mr. Monk... They were taking my picture when I was taking a shot of the sunset. I looked up and they were laughing.. So as they walked past I took their picture.. :) They paused just briefly for me.. I thought it was amazing that the girl just happened to be sitting there watching the sunset as they walked past. :)

Great composition and the orange of his robes makes a perfect contrast against the grayish sky. the seated girl is a perfect placement too.

You know, the more I look at this shot, the more I like it. The girl seated and the monk with the half smile keeps drawing me to it. As I said before this is a really nice shot.

The composition in this image is excellent. With both people back-to-back (and she is almost in the lotus position) you have created a very well balanced photo. I love his expression too. The color of the robe works well with the sky. Well done, IMHO.
The longer I look at this shot the more I like it. They both seem at peace yet contrast eachother. Very nice shot.
