This is another great shot and I love the snow too!
Here is what I did to my artsy outhouse shot.
I used paint shop pro
In the effects menu, go to Artistic Effects, then Brush Strokes
In the Strokes box set the Length to 10 and the Density to 40
In the Brush box set Bristles to 256, Width to 2 and Opacity to 3
Set the Softness to 4
In the Lighting box, set the angle to 102 and the Color should be black.
Name and save that configuration so you can use it whenever you want.
I just kept playing around with different settings until I found something I liked.
Great picture with the reflection in the lake.
You are visiting in the area that my husband and I are moving to in late Spring or early summer. We'll be a lot closer to all that beautiful snow and mountians.
