Last Saturday morning - Tsunami Warning.. No I didn't head for the beach just because all the sirens were going off and the police were everywhere.... I had gotten up before the commotion to shoot the sunrise with a friend from the mainland that was staying in Waikiki. No sunrise shots however, we did have a wonderful breakfast at a hotel on the beach!!!! took a few photos of an empty Waikiki, enjoyed the beautiful morning and then headed for higher ground since they evacuated the area and closed all of the roads in and around Waikiki. It was quite a day.. Thank goodness no Tsunami but lots of excitement.. Aloha, Renee :)

Look at the crystal clear water! The shadow of the coconut tree is great too!

Glad to see you posting pix again! :-)

Typical photographer, leaning out over the gorge edge, using fires to light up the Delicate Arch, and disregarding the tsunami warnings. That's okay, I would fly over to rescue you and then go shooting! I liked the coconut tree shadow too. Oh yeah, never mind the guy with his friends' cameras on the disappearing lava bench. You be safe!!!!!!!

Wow! That's really beautiful! I love that the city is in the distance... nature and man-made things.
