Thanks for the comments.. I am back from the mainland.. Disneyland, Shopping in Minn. Mall of America, Visiting with my Grandma in Wisconsin, she is 93 and then visiting with parents/family in Calif. Hope to get some photos posted soon. :)

Yes she is alive. She is just sleeping on the beach. So I learned that they come out of the water to lay on the warm sand and rest/sleep and then go back in the water to feed .. There were two of these Hawaiian Sea Turtles resting on the beach!! Very cool.. But since they are out of the water their shells are very dull looking. It was great when she finally woke up and then just quickly turned and swam off. Quite amazing!! :)

Sorry that I haven't been posting these last few days. I have been off venturing around on the Big Island. Very different than here on Oahu. This is at Volcano National Park very early morning.. It is beautiful there. Hope you enjoy :)
