I am not an avid bird stalker although on my recent trip to the Big Island we did spend several hours waiting for the cute teeny tiny Hawaiian Birds to make an appearance. They are super quick not staying at any one flower for long. It was an experience!!!

What a beauty Bird and so colourful.
Some of the little birds can really give one a workout trying to swing, focus, and click before they move but the results like you have here are well worth the effort! Beautiful bird!

It can really be a challenge to capture certain species of birds and other wildlife, which makes outdoor photography so interesting. I am glad you had the thrill of capturing this special little bird.
