This is a tiny teeny super small wild flower that I think is called a Giraffe Head. Part of the Mint Family (Lamiaceae). It is suppose to bloom March through August. (got that info from the internet. HA! ) There were a few of them blooming and I thought they were so cute. Can you see the giraffe?

Even before I read your comments, I thought, "hey, that looks like a giraffe head."

Nice picture. Love the colors.

Like the repeat color in back. Nice! Giraffe is there, a lot easier than my camo turtle.

I see a giraffe on the top and two little chipmunk faces on the bottom two smaller ones =D
At first i wondered where you shot that in Hawaii because I've never seen any flower like it but I guess this must have been in the mainland!

Shazam! Very pretty - looks like another painting. I think you are going to give Monet a run for his money. ;o)

Beauties lie waiting in the grass, waiting for us to notice. These are lovely, Renee.

Hi Renee,
Are you still on the mainland? I do hope your Mom is doing better.
Miss your beautiful photos and that you can get back to it sometime soon.

Renee

It 's good to hear from you again. I'm sorry to hear about your parents' illness and hope that they improve. I thought that was likely why you weren't posting as I recall you mentioning about your mother having problems in previous posts.

I still have faith in the 40D and expect that it will work well when it gets back. (It worked well up to the fatal breakdown), but who knows how it will turn out in the end. I wouldn't be afraid to buy another, but I picked the 30D because I didn't want to pay the price for a 40D and it seemed kind of pointless to have two cameras exactly the same.

Best Wishes
Willard
