Tiarre or Tahitian Gardenia...It has a really nice fragrance and you can wear them in your hair. Hardy little thing!! :)

What a beautiful flower. It's wonderful how the photo captures a soft texture on the petals.

One of my all time favorites, Billie Holiday, wore a gardenia in her hair when she performed. Perhaps she did that so she could catch the wonderful aroma now and again as she sang to a crowd of smokers and drinkers.

I can almost smell that elegant flower. It almost looks like its made of ivory.
